Bradshaw Mountain High School (BMHS) is a public high school located in Prescott Valley, Arizona, and is part of the Humboldt Unified School District (HUSD). Established in 1976, the school serves as the primary high school for students in the district and has grown over the years to become a central institution in the community.

History of Bradshaw Mountain High School

  • Named After: The nearby Bradshaw Mountains, a prominent range in central Arizona that was once rich in mining history. The name reflects the rugged and resilient spirit of the area.
  • Growth and Expansion Initially a smaller high school, BMHS expanded as the population of Prescott Valley and neighboring communities grew. Over the years, the school added new academic programs, extracurricular activities, and athletic programs to meet the needs of its growing student body.
